The lessons delivered in the Keep Breathing Educational Resource cover the topic of consent in its broadest terms, helping pupils understand the meaning of consent, how to ask for consent and to know that it can be withdrawn. The package concludes by considering how consent can be misunderstood, why two versions of the same event can be completely different and looking at where the breakdown in communication occurred. The package links directly with the Department of Education’s RSHE Curriculum.

All Secondary schools and education providers are required to teach pupils the topics of consent and intimate relationships to ensure pupils have the facts around keeping each other safe.
